Surgically assisted orthodontics is a great supportive treatment and can come in many forms. After obtaining and reviewing 3D imaging Dr. Doroshenko and your Orthodontist will collaborate and make a treatment plan best suited for your unique case.
Common Surgically Assisted Treatment:
Surgically Facilitated Orthodontic Therapy (SFOT):
This treatment is often planned for teenagers or adults undergoing orthodontic treatment. SFOT maximizes orthodontic treatment while minimizing the time and surgeries needed for more mature patients.
Surgically Assisted Rapid Palatal Expansion (SARPE):
This treatment is often planned for teenagers or adults undergoing orthodontic treatment. SARPE treatment helps address tooth crowding by enlarging the dental arch.
